Ordering And Shipping

At Sheen Plastics, we take pride in delivering high-quality acrylic products tailored to your needs. Due to the custom nature of many of our products, most items are not returnable. However, certain stock items may be returned for a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase, subject to the conditions outlined below.


Eligibility for Returns

Items that may be returned:

  • Pre-cut acrylic sheets

  • Stock size rods and tubes

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition as received.

  • Sheets must have the original masking intact, along with any product or item labels.

  • Any item that has been cut, installed, or modified cannot be returned.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Custom orders (cut-to-size sheets, custom fabrication, and laser-cut items)

  • Full-size acrylic sheets

  • Decorative films

  • Hardware and consumables

  • Sneeze guards/barriers

  • Any other plastic sheeting not specifically listed as returnable


Return Process

  1. Request Authorization

    • Before returning an item, you must contact us to obtain a Return Authorization.

    • Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

  2. Shipping Your Return

    • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

    • It is highly recommended to use a trackable and insured shipping method (e.g., UPS Ground).

    • Sheen Plastics is not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.

  3. In-Store Returns

    • Items may also be returned in person to our NYC store with a valid return authorization.

  4. Refunds & Restocking Fees

    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus shipping costs (which are non-refundable).

    • If the item is not returned in its original condition, we reserve the right to:

      • Refuse the return, OR

      • Charge a restocking fee of up to 25%.

    • For large quantity, high-value, or special orders, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply at our discretion.


Damaged or Defective Items

We strive to deliver products in perfect condition, but if you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

  • Report any damage or defects within 3 business days.

  • Provide clear photos of:

    • The item as received

    • The original packaging showing damage (if applicable)

Resolution Options:

  • We will evaluate your claim and determine if a replacement or refund is appropriate.

  • If a return is required, please do not discard the item or packaging until the return process is completed.

  • Replacements will be sent via the same delivery method as the original order.

Sheen Plastics is not responsible for additional costs related to transportation, labor, or any other expenses resulting from defective products. Our responsibility is limited to the value of the merchandise.
